The internal reconfiguration and external connection of a 1948 London terrace.
The design brief was to modernise and add value to the dark, cellular property to suit a more contemporary lifestyle. The design solution saw added value through refurbishment combined with the introduction of an additional bedroom and shower room. A half width, zinc clad, rear extension was sensitively added in the Conservation Area providing a generous open plan kitchen with dedicated dining space. Daylight is captured from frameless roof lights and sliding doors with flush connection to the expansive garden.
